Château Bruyant debarque enfin a Toulouse ! C’est l’occasion de mettre les petits plats dans les grands et de reunir un gros casting autour des artistes du label french bass qui monte. Fonde il y a a peine deux ans par une bande de producteurs hyperactifs, CB n’a de cesse depuis de nous offrir de belles releases explorant la Bass Music au sens large, mais aussi de bonnes soirees hors des sentiers battus, mixant dubstep filthy, tropical bass, glitch , grime et postdubstep.

Pour cette edition toulousaine qui promet d’etre haute en couleur , on retrouve le noyau dur du label, avec Niveau Zero, Tambour Battant et The Unik, trois entites qui font l’actu depuis maintenant un moment sur la scene, mais aussi Youthman .
Calvertron et Maztek viendront se rajouter à ce menu deja bien alléchant , dans un Bikini qu’on retrouve toujours avec un immense plaisir : LA meilleure salle de France, de l’avis general !

We re one year old ! Or so…
Our first official release was one year ago, soon followed by a dirty dozen of fine bass Eps we have been very proud to promote, with artists such as Tambour Battant, Zimo, The Unik, Niveau Zero, Habstrakt, Broad Rush, Brown and Gammon, Addergebroed, MC2, Baxter Beez, Flore…
From Dubstep to Tropical House to Glitch Hop, we’re glad to represent a wide range of subgenres, sharing a unique love for Bass !
So, we thought the timing was perfect to drop this first compilation. Mixing brand new unreleased material with previousy released stuff that we thought deserved a new focus, Château Bruyant Vol.1 is a first statement on what our label has to offer.
It’s also for us a unique occasion to welcome new artists on CBR. We’ve been following some of them for a while, and they all deserve much attention, so expect some more release from them (and others) on Châeau Bruyant in the months to come.

Our friend Jankenpopp might well be our Dirty South’s craziest producer. Yet he comes up with an album that’s all but a mess, though it mixes something like thousand influences in a very cohesive piece of art. Expect some breakcore, pop, 8bit, techno and much more from this complete artist, who’s also responsible for this beautiful cover (a tribute to France’s own burlesque Elvis : Johnny Hallyday).
Jankenpopp got himself a strong sense of humor and an unique ability to digest genres, taking you to his very personal dreamland.

We already knew that « Borgore ruined Dubstep ». Disregarding this stupid haterz sentence with a good old sense of humor, Tel Aviv producer made it a motto. He since launched his own label Buygore and signed some of the best producers worldwide (among them The Unik, Habstrakt and Niveau Zero, but you know it).
After some heavy releases, it’s time for a statement, and this compilation album is quite one !
In addition to our Frenchies quoted above, it features some big and fresh names such as Document One, Bare, Xkore, Tomba, Virus Syndicate, and, off course, The Boss himself.
